How does a John Deere implement dealer in Melvin,
IL end up selling wind turbines?
In May of 2007 an EF5 Tornado demolished Greensburg, KS. Among
the buildings that were lost was a John Deere dealership named
BTI. The town and the dealer decided to rebuild and use the
town’s name of Greensburg as the inspiration to rebuild it green.
Endurance Wind Power company heard about the John Deere Dealership
wanting to rebuild in a green way and set up an Endurance Wind
Turbine to power their new site.
So how does this relate to Arends Bros? Endurance Wind Power
was seeking distributors to sell their turbines and it seemed
to be a perfect fit for our customers. We now can distribute
Endurance Wind Turbines throughout Illinois and Indiana.
Arends Bros. knows “you need to be in it, to be in it” and we
feel that offering this turbine to our customers is the right
thing to do. We also want to help the environment and reduce
our draw on the electrical power grid so we are installing an
Endurance Wind Turbine at each of our four store locations.
